Back Connecting By MIDI Over Bluetooth – OSX Devices Can I use MIDI over Bluetooth? To connect your midis and play wirelessly your device must have a Bluetooth LE chip, and should be running one of the following operating systems: Mac OSX 10.10.2 or higher iOS 8 or higher Turn on the midis, by pressing the Yellow button, when the LED turns on, your device is on, if not, (charge your midis over usb) Set up MIDI-over-Bluetooth on your Mac Open Spotlight by clicking on the magnifying glass in the top-right of your screen. Type ‘Audio MIDI setup’ and double-click to open it. From the top bar, click: Window ➝ Show MIDI Studio. A new window will open. Double-click the Bluetooth icon in the MIDI Studio window. Another, smaller window will open and automatically start scanning for nearby Bluetooth devices. After pressing Connect, the button will display Connecting for a few seconds followed by Disconnect.
